Bill Bailey graduated from Baylor University in 1958. He retired from the U. S. Air Force in 1989, after serving in the Air Force for 30 years. He was in the Vietnam War. Bill has much management and administrative experience from the commands that he had in the Air Force. He retired from Lockheed-Martin in 2001.
Bill is an active volunteer. He is currently serving his third term on the Texas Silver-Haired Legislature, and his second term as Chair of the Criminal Justice Committee.
He volunteers as an Airport Ambassador at the DFW International Airport, is a docent at the C.R. Smith Aviation Museum, and a member of the Architectural Review Committee of his Homeowner’s Association. Bill is Head Usher at the second service at Richland Hills United Methodist Church and a member of the Finance Committee and the Endowment Fund Committee. He is a member of the Board of Pensions of the Central Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church. Bill also volunteers as a member of the NE Tarrant Republican Club. He is a member of the Tarrant County Republican Assembly. He has worked as an Election Clerk since 2000.
Bill and Mona Bailey have been married 55 years and have 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters.
